Destrehan Plantation & Ormond Plantation

Available: April 6 & 13 – Morning
Tour Duration: 3 Hours
Cost per Person: $175

Destrehan Plantation, one of oldest extant West Indies style plantation manors in the Mississippi Delta, is the setting for your magical evening. Amidst ancient, draping oaks, guests enjoy specialty plantation cocktails, a tour of the mansion with hostesses in antebellum attire and a spectacular dinner.

Upon arrival at Destrehan, guests are treated to a storybook southern scene as they approach the home that is bathed in soft twilight. Guests will enjoy their choice of chilled champagne or white wine as candlelight tours of the mansion are offered. A full robed gospel choir can be added to serenade guests as they move onto the colonnaded gallery that runs the length of the mansion’s facade.

Following the tours, guests are escorted along a handmade plank walkway to the rustic Plantation Barn to enjoy Southern cuisine and festive live music. Built by slaves circa 1830, the Plantation Barn was formerly a livestock barn on Glendale Plantation.
